How can you create a card?
Follow these steps to create a virtual card:
Step 1 - Verification
Navigate to the Account Verification page by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Joinn App. First complete the Joinn Verification and then the Mastercard Verification.
Step 2 - Create Card

Once verified navigate to the dashboard and select "Create Mastercard"

Follow the steps to submit Card Contact Details and set your card PIN. A PIN is sometimes required for purchases in store when using Apple Pay and Google Pay.
IMPORTANT : Please ensure you enter a phone number that you have access to as you will get sent an OTP (one-time passcode) when setting up Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you lose access to this phone number you can change your cards contacted details by navigating to the Spending Account, selecting "Account Information" and selecting the button labeled "Change Mastercard Contacts". - Once the card has been created you can view the card on the dashboard. Hovering over the card and selecting "Display Details" will reveal the cards details.
- IMPORTANT : The name attached to your Mastercard is the same name used during the Mastercard KYC process.
What are the requirements to create a virtual card?
To create a card, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Complete the Joinn Verification: Your Joinn Verification must be successfully completed in order to progress to the Mastercard Verification.

Completed the Mastercard Verification: The Mastercard Verification process includes KYC verification that must be successfully completed.
What should you do if you encounter issues while creating a virtual card?
If you experience any issues, follow these steps:

Check for system errors:
If you encounter technical issues, such as pages not loading or errors during card creation, refresh the page, log out and then log back in. Further problem solving tips can be found here.
